I realize that you must have a host of unanswered questions. But they're short and I can spare you the trouble by quoting them here. The letters found on the first and last pages of the book are the only parts with anything new, as they're set in the 'present day', sometime between books 4 and 5. There really isn't anything new in the book as far as lore goes, just information from the rest of the series organized into a scrapbook form and bundled with some great artwork. However if your only interest in this book is for 'compiling lore' than you'll be disappointed.
